I moved to St. Petersburg about 3 years ago and, after 5 bad experiences with other barbers in the area, I ended up learning how to cut my own hair 😅 because I’m pretty picky, especially with a low taper.

I recently decided to give St. Pete barbers another shot, and I’m really glad I found this place. Douglas absolutely killed it. The haircut came out even better than I expected.

The shop has a really cool vibe and a lot of personality too. Douglas is a great barber, easy to talk to, and definitely knows what he’s doing. He’s got a longterm customer now

I scheduled an appointment with Doug the owner while on the road. When I ended up getting into town later than expected I called and he was happy to move me to a later available time slot. The shop reminded me of the small town barbers I went to in my hometown but with a pirate twist. I was greeted as soon as I entered was quickly in the chair. After explaining, poorly, what I wanted (skin fade) Doug took a moment to survey the mess I had been growing on my head and went to work. The conversation was great and in no time he had taken me from shaggy to swaggy. Love the business and am now calculating what it would cost to fly to Tampa once a month for a fresh fade.
